Ireland - Donegal to Derry

The photo top left is of 'The Petrol Bomber'. This is representative of the 2 days in August 1969 when local people resisted attempts by the Royal Ulster Constabulary to break down the barricades set up to defend their community. The Battle of Bogside ended when the British Government sent in the army. The photo top right is of 'Death of Innocence' representing the 14 year old shot by a British soldier in 1971. She was the 100th victim of the troubles and the first child to be killed.
